About the project…

For my first assignment in Graphic Design III at Bethel University, I chose to create an app geared towards spreading awareness and aid for users of varying mental capabilities. I am very passionate about the community of those on the spectrum because of my familial influences, work experiences, and friends as well, and thought that if everyone had access to a resource to better understand those with different needs than us, people would become more empathetic and open to relationships with people unlike themselves. The logo is a combination of a brain and a heart (and almost looks like there is a smiley face, a happy accident!) because I wanted to emphasize that the app, “BrainBuddies”, would be a place of loving community for people facing different mental struggles.
